One of the main changes to the G650X models (compared to the F650) is the frame. In other words a lot of what we know about frame and fairing problems from the F650 is no longer relevant to the G650X models.

| Some very early model XChallenge bikes are reported to have problems with the level guage on the rear suspension setup (i.e. it does not work). BMW is currently (late March 2007) working on this problem. If anyone has any pictures, please let us know. |
