Saw some side covers in nice shape. I know mine was scratched when I bought my bike and I couldn't find these damn things anywhere. I finally bought one from a dealer for full price.

On your side of the pond they are, but on ours (at least in the States), the convention is that new cars sold in a given year are indeed manufactured that year but sold as "next year's" model, especially toward calendar year-end. My bike was made in 2002, but was sold as an '03. "2010" model cars and bikes are already being hurried out the showrooms in anticipation of the "2011" models arriving presently.

It is beyond me why they make clones of unpopular bikes. There is a clone of my old scooter, the H*nda Big Ruckus also which only sold for I think 3 yrs and was quite a flop.

I have to wonder if their stuff bay rails crack or not and their side cover inserts break the tabs or not. Maybe they are better than the BMW ones?
