I bought these handguards back when the Fog Lights from JC Whitney were ordered but never got around installing them.
Maier USA (PN 594970) made them for the Suz*k* 500 LTA LTF series of ATV's. They were on \"sale\" for 22$ so its a cheap trial and error buy.

The guards fit nearly perfect, the brake lever guard had to be modified in several ways:
enlargen the bolt hole to make the BMW bolt fit it
cut away the bottom to fit around the switch connection and also cut away the bottom mount for the nut of the stock bolt to fit.
This might be an issue at higher speeds or cause premature material failure so I will keep everyone updated as well.
The top of the guard had to be slightly cut away in the area of the reservoir/brake line to fit across the BMW part. I ziptied (for now) the guard on that end across the brake reservoir as seen in the pics.

The steering can still be locked into that position with the stock windshield as seen in the pictures.
First drive impression (30mph) was very nice so I will post an update down the road during the week as to how it does and helps with the cold weather.

Thanks Stephan. Being a member in good standing of the CBOA club, I appreciate those. They even look good, although that isn't a critera for me. I may even replace my oil bottle ones with those.:-)

looks aint criteria for me either... as long as they work and dont affect safety they shall be honored in cold weather!
They also hold up to speeds up to 100mph (try at your own risk)

I had to place a ziptie on the clutch levers cover as it was being pushed back (towards me) that is with higher winds. other than that they guards are still doing their job
